I miei pezzi d'oro was founded in Amsterdam in 2014 with the belief that interior design, at its best, is indistinguishable from architecture. We work at the point where the two disciplines meet — where the volume of a room and the grain of its floor are understood as parts of the same thought.
We are a small practice by deliberate choice. Our team of eight designers and architects works across The Netherlands, the United Kingdom and France on a carefully curated selection of residential and commercial projects.
Our clients come to us when they want a home or a space that feels unmistakably itself — rooted in its place, built to last, and designed around the specific texture of a life rather than a general idea of comfort.
Slowness
We believe that the best design cannot be rushed. We work with a limited number of clients each year, giving each project the time and attention it requires. This is not a commercial constraint — it is a design conviction.
Material intelligence
We specify materials not for their cost or rarity but for how they behave in light, how they feel underhand, and how they will look in twenty years. A well-chosen material is the most durable form of beauty.
Collaboration
We do not work for clients — we work with them. The best projects emerge from a genuine exchange between our design knowledge and our clients' understanding of their own lives. We listen first, draw second.
