House on the Dyke
Amstelveen, Netherlands — 2025
For this private residence on the Amsteldijk, the renovation was approached as a complete refinement of space, light, and livability. The ambition was to create a home that feels calm and contemporary, while bringing greater clarity, openness, and cohesion to everyday family life. The interior was reimagined through a restrained palette of soft neutrals, natural stone, warm wood flooring, dark architectural accents, and carefully integrated glazing. Generous openings, bespoke kitchen elements, and framed sightlines create a strong sense of continuity throughout the house, while large windows connect the interior to the surrounding garden and bring daylight deep into the living spaces.

Staircase — steel treads, glass balustrade

Stairwell — overhead view
