Trainmore Singel

Amsterdam, Netherlands — 2018

For the renovation of TrainMore Singel, the ambition was to create a fitness environment where heritage architecture and contemporary performance are brought together in one bold, cohesive identity. Set within a characterful Amsterdam building, the project was approached as a transformation of both atmosphere and experience, preserving the strength of the original structure while introducing a distinctly modern training environment. The interior was reimagined through a powerful palette of dark finishes, integrated linear lighting, reflective surfaces, and graphic accents, carefully balanced against the rhythm and presence of the existing architectural shell. Historic columns, generous volumes, and original proportions give the club a strong spatial character, while the new interventions introduce clarity, intensity, and a sharper metropolitan edge.
